About

Hi! I’m Jessanah, author of Honey & Water. Thank you so much for visiting my little corner of the internet, it’s so lovely to have you here. I love creating beautiful rooms for celebration, installations and bringing people together over a meal but writing is my true love. It’s been a private practice for much of my life — how I make sense of life, loss… everything. In many ways, articulating seasons with words has enabled me to stand, to heal and to hold onto hope even against all hope.

To be honest, it feels pretty tender and scary to share some of my heart with you because my most sacred rituals sometimes feel too precious and too intimate to share. But timing is everything right? (I’m learning to let go in my thirties ha!). My humble prayer is that these words would nourish you home too.
All my love x

“…The words in these pages are supplication, they’re prayer, they’re conclusions I’ve come to about myself and faith. They seal a season that deeply unsettled me. And even though I wouldn’t wish sorrow on anyone, it’s clear now that only God can restore the lost years. Only He can replenish the jars. Only He can heal. Only His providence can turn devastation into wells. This is more than a book; it’s my heart and soul poured out, a marker in the ground, a stone of remembrance, an altar, an act of worship and a seed. My humble prayer is that these words nourish you home too.“
